6/28/24 Philadelphia Phillies Linked to Possible NL East Trade with Mets. The Philadelphia Phillies have been linked to pursuing outfield help ahead of the MLB trade deadline next month. Plenty of potential options have been suggested for the Phillies, but a new name is coming up as a possible target. The player that would be the centerpiece of a trade would be veteran outfielder Harrison Bader.

6/25/24 Mashing Mets look like playoff team as Yankees show some cracks. The Yankees looked like the best team in baseball for a long while, and they still own the most wins (tied with the Phillies). Meantime, the Mets couldn't beat the likes of the Marlins six weeks ago and they still possess a losing record. Yet, there's some question — at least for today — where the better team resides. It just may be in Queens. The Mets are still only 38-39 even after blowing most of an eight-run lead and barely hanging on to beat the Yankees 9-7 in the first game of the Subway Series. But the Mets have the majors' best record in June, and they are starting to steamroll some very good pitchers, including the best in the game Tuesday night. 4 Harrison Bader rounds the bases after

6/18/24 Harrison Bader showing pop at plate at opportune time for Mets. After two straight subpar offensive seasons, Bader is healthy and among the Mets players enjoying a strong June. Bader entered Tuesday's play with a .282/.295/.538 slash line for the month with two homers and 10 RBIs. Harrison Bader celebrates after hitting a double during the Mets' win over the Padres on Sunday. John Jones-USA TODAY Sports Overall he owned a .712 OPS for this season, and he's continued to bring Gold Glove caliber defense to center field. “It all starts with one thing, and that's health and being available,”

Martinez each delivered an RBI single as New York took a 5-2 lead in a three-run second inning aided by two errors on the infield and a wild pitch from Braxton Garrett.

5/30/24 Mets outfielder oddly lists 3 Yankees, 2 of them current players, for his Mt. Rushmore of New York athletes. Amid the New York Mets hitting rock bottom, one of their own seems to be missing his old team just a little bit. Harrison Bader, a Bronxville native, grew up rooting for the New York Yankees – he played for them for parts of 2022 and 2023 before eventually being waived, and he signed with the Mets this offseason. Bader's cup of coffee with the Yankees included a random power surge in the 2022 postseason, but after retirement, it's unlikely he'll get an invitation to Old Timers' Day. Two bizarre things came out of this: 1) he only named three players.
