6/22/24 White Sox earn another embarrassing loss by forgetting how many outs there are in the 9th inning. The White Sox have no shortage of losses this season. Entering Friday, Chicago's 56 L's led MLB with the next-worst team, the Colorado Rockies, still six games back. Loss No. 57 for the Sox may not be the worst they experience this year (the season is still too young to make that declaration), but it will be one of the most memorable. Trailing by one run against the rival Detroit Tigers with one out in the ninth inning, Paul DeJong reached base on a hit by pitch.

6/20/24 White Sox SS Paul DeJong's appreciation for game at all-time high. Like many players before him, shortstop Paul DeJong has experienced the highs and lows of the major league career. There was splashy arrival on the scene with the Cardinals, for whom he was second in National League Rookie of the Year voting in 2017, and an All-Star in 2019. “This year I've gained a huge appreciation for what it even means to play baseball,” DeJong told the Sun-Times. When DeJong sees teammates struggling, he knows what they're dealing with.

6/14/24 Could San Francisco Giants Benefit From Reunion With Shortstop?. The San Francisco Giants are still sitting around .500, which means they could become buyers at the MLB trade deadline to prep for a playoff push. If the Giants do add to their roster, one of the clear holes they could address is depth in the middle of their infield. Mark Feinsand of MLB.com examined the trade block to see who's stock is rising ahead of the deadline. One player who is helping himself out with some nice performances is Chicago White Sox shortstop Paul DeJong.

6/08/24 Chicago White Sox Could Be Very Active On The Trade Market. The MLB trade deadline is still several weeks away, but a few teams have already been active. There's little question the Chicago White Sox will be involved, but what might come as a surprise is how active they could be. When they signed players like Paul DeJong and Tommy Pham, it was clear they would most likely be mid-season flips. Outfielder Tommy Pham might be the most certain player of any to be dealt, but there are no sacred cows on the South Side.
