9/04/24 Brewers Make Roster Moves. MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers made a number of roster moves affecting their bullpen on Tuesday. The Brewers sent Bryan Hudson to AAA Nashville while Bryse Wilson was placed on the 15 day injured list with a right oblique strain. They also recalled Elvis Peguero from Nashville and activated Hoby Milner from the injured list. Hudson has been one of the most effective relievers for the Brewers this season but they want to limit his innings for a bit.

7/08/24 Brewers Split Weekend Games. LOS ANGELES, CA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers salvaged one game of their three game series in LA with a Sunday win over the Dodgers, 9-2. They dropped Saturday's game 5-3. On Saturday LA scored three first inning runs and added two more in the 8th off Bryan Hudson who took the loss. Rhys Hoskins and Christian Yelich homered. Willy Adames had the other RBI. On Sunday Yelich went 3-4 with another homer, his 11th. He had three RBIs and scored three runs. Eric Haase and Blake Perkins also went deep with Perkins driving in 3 runs. Jeff Junis pocked up the win in relief. The Los Angeles Dodgers face a roster crunch and already had to designate Bryan Hudson for assignment before trading him to the Milwaukee Brewers. Although it's a good problem to have, the Dodgers have been faced with some tough decisions on who to remove from their 40-man roster. The Dodgers on January 3 acquired minor league left-hander Justin Chambers plus a player to be named later or cash from Milwaukee in the deal. Hudson was a third-round pick of the Cubs in 2015, and after eight seasons in Chicago's minor leagues signed a minor league deal with the Dodgers last offseason.

Eight years after he was drafted, sidearm left-hander Bryan Hudson made his major league debut in 2023 after signing a minor league deal with the Dodgers. Hudson was picked in the third round out of high school by the Cubs in 2015. The 6'8 left-hander never reached the majors with the Cubs, and signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers in December 2022 with a non-roster invitation to spring training. The left-hander excelled in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League in 2023, and by mid-June had a 2.17 ERA with 51 strikeouts and a 41.1-percent strikeout rate in 29 innings for Oklahoma City.
