9/19/24 New York Giants Week 3: A Look at the Cleveland Browns Offense. The New York Giants defense played a solid game against the Washington Commanders despite taking the loss. With the Cleveland Browns offense struggling, the Giants have the opportunity to have another strong showing. The Browns gave the Giants competition for the worst QB contract in the NFL with the deal they gave Deshaun Watson. To this point, Watson hasn't been the saving grace that the offense was looking for and while he's still a clearly talented QB, things just aren't clicking.

9/19/24 Legendary Sports Radio Host Sees Change in Giants HC Brian Daboll. It's only Week 3 and the New York Giants' 0-2 record hasn't left fans feeling blue. In the opinion of legendary NEw York sports radio host Mike Francesa, Giants head coach Brian Daboll is right there with the fan base. Francesa noted how the Giants could have used a win against the Washington Commanders win due to their tough upcoming schedule which includes dates with Cleveland, Dallas, Seattle, and Cincinnati. “0-2 hurts,” Francesa said.

9/18/24 Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux picks up shoulder injury ahead of crucial Browns game. After their 21-18 loss to the Washington Commanders last Sunday, the New York Giants fell to 0-2 on the NFL season. As they prepared for their upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns, the Giants' linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux appeared on the team's injury report on Wednesday, per Giants.com's Dan Salomone. Thibodeaux is listed as limited in practice with a shoulder injury, along with linebacker Darius Muasau, who's nursing a knee injury, and Isaiah Simmons, who isn't injured but limited for personal reasons.

9/18/24 Commanders CB Benjamin St-Juste on What Was Better for Defense in Week 2. The Washington Commanders got their first takeaway in their first win of the season. It came at the hands of the secondary, but not in the way you'd expect it to as Commanders cornerback Benjamin St-Juste forced a fumble that was recovered by safety Jeremy Chinn. The takeaway was one of what Washington plans on being several in its quest to establish an identity of hunting the ball, and it proved critical as the Giants were driving down the field looking for a score that could have ultimately given their team the Week 2 win.

9/17/24 Commanders Coach 'Impressed' by Veteran TE. The Washington Commanders added a number of veterans to the team this offseason to help steer the ship in a new direction. One of those players was tight end Zach Ertz, who played in just seven games with the Arizona Cardinals last season. Despite limited playing time last year, Ertz has been strong during his first two games with the Commanders, especially in Week 2 against the New York Giants. Ertz led the team with 62 yards on four catches, which earned him some praise from coach Dan Quinn.

9/17/24 What Went Wrong for the New York Giants Defense in Week 2 Loss?. New York Giants Lose to Commanders, 21-18 In a heartbreaking Week 2 loss to division rival Washington Commanders, the New York Giants struggled on defense, both against the run and on third-down. I studied the tape to determine what went wrong for this Giants defensive front. Here are my findings. The Washington Commanders' personnel groupings on running plays put stress on the Giants' defense with spacing with their defensive line splits. The wider the splits between each DL, the more advantageous the blocking angles will be. The Commanders work in 11 (3WRs, 1TE, 1RB) and 12 personnel (2WRs, 2TEs, 1RB), mostly out of shotgun formation. This resulted in the Commanders running against a light

9/17/24 Can the Bengals recover from another 0-2 start?. The Bengals will return next week with a Monday Night Football home game at Paycor Stadium against the Washington Commanders (1-1). The 0-2 start is a feeling that's all too familiar in the Queen City. The Bengals started each of the last three seasons without a win in the first two weeks.

9/16/24 Commanders WR Comes in Clutch vs. Giants. The Washington Commanders are celebrating after a 21-18 win, and wide receiver Noah Brown can walk away from the game knowing he left his mark. In one of the biggest plays on the final drive, Jayden Daniels found Noah Brown for a 34-yard catch that got the Commanders across midfield. “We had a three-minute concept, front-side over to the left, and defense covered that really well and was able to get back to the end cut with Noah," Daniels said postgame.

Read our editorial standards for more information. The two winless teams in the NFC East face off on Sunday when the Washington Commanders host the New York Giants. Both teams were particularly underwhelming in Week 1, each losing by double-digits. However, unlike the Giants, the Commanders showed some ability to run the ball. The Giants looked lost following the offseason departure of running back Saquon Barkley, who scored three touchdowns in his debut with the Eagles. Perhaps it was Barkley who had been responsible for the Giants' meager offensive success. Coming off an injury-riddled
