9/12/24	Yankees Star Jazz Chisholm Jr. Had Funny Reaction to First Career Walk-Off Ice Bath. New York Yankees star Jazz Chisholm Jr. stepped into the batter's box in the bottom of the 11th inning on Wednesday night with runners on first and third against the Kansas City Royals. With the infield playing in to try to prevent the game-winning run from being scored, Chisholm hit a slider to the left side of the infield. Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. couldn't make a play after his diving stop, and the game-winning run came home to score as the Yankees walked off a 4-3 win in the Bronx. The walk-off hit by Chisholm was consequential given the state of the playoff race in the AL East. Shortly before Chisholm came through, the Orioles lost 5-3 in 10 innings at Fenway Park when Tyler O’Neill hit a walk-off homer for Boston. Luke Weaver struck out three in 1 2/3 hitless innings for the win. New York took two of three in a series between playoff contenders. 9/04/24	Jazz Chisholm Jr.'s problem solved by Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton's brute strength. Jazz Chisholm Jr. has done nothing but enjoy life thus far in his stint in the Bronx after getting traded to the New York Yankees. Getting traded from the Miami Marlins to one of the best teams in the MLB will have that effect. With Chisholm set to bat, he could not manage to get the donut off his bat. 9/03/24	How Great Has Jazz Chisholm Jr. Been With the Yankees?. It can't be understated how good Jazz Chisholm Jr. has been since joining the New York Yankees. Ironically, that's what many fans are doing when praising the exciting 26-year-old; even though Chisholm's offensive production has spiked exponentially, there's been more to him that meets the eye. On FanGraphs, Chisholm is currently having the best season of his young career with 3.4 wins above replacement, which is almost a full win higher than his previous best (2.5 in 2022). New York Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. recently commented on Instagram that he is healthy enough to play, but has to wait until the 10-day injured list time period passes, but manager Aaron Boone said “That might be a little ambitious” during his interview on the Talkin' Yanks podcast on Tuesday.
