11/21/23 On Yoshinobu Yamamoto posting day, Yankees add reliever with 1st free agent signing. While we wait to see if the Yankees will be all-in on Japanese pitching phenom Yoshinobu Yamamoto and if they'll go big on one of the two outfield holes that need addressed this winter, they added a little bullpen depth on Monday. The signing of Yerry De Los Santos to a minor-league deal probably won't excite fans, but the 6-foot-2, 210-pound right-hander is intriguing because of his age, his 2023 big-league stats and his 95-mph sinker/nasty slider arsenal. The Pirates released De Los Santos earlier this month.

11/20/23 Yankees add to bullpen by signing sinker-baller Yerry De Los Santos. The Yankees have signed Yerry De Los Santos, according to his reps at Epitome Sports Management. The agency announced the move in an Instagram post on Monday night. Epitome did not immediately respond to a question asking whether De Los Santos had signed a major or minor league deal. De Los Santos, 25, is an intriguing addition for the Yankees.

7/12/22 Padres Ruiz The Hounds.
Yerry De Los Santos is commonly known as Yerry Across The Mersey, and now that Esteury Ruiz seems on the precipice of being called up we have a new river. The best river since Alex Rios? Well, thanks for asking since I did major in geography at the Fantasy Baseball College of Charleston. 1. Mickey Rivers 2. Alex Rios 3. Esteury Ruiz. 4. Dylan Bundy, who isn't named for a body of water, but is always a streamer. Unranked: Drew Waters. You know how close those were though? It's hard to fathoms. Damn, you walked into that one! For the Padres, Esteury was called up to the taxi squad in Colorado, and, with Profar out, Ruiz could be with the team at any moment. Why do we care? Okay, okay, wanna get to the meat, huh? He's got 50+ steal speed! That's it! It's a wrap! Okay, he could hit 10 homers and .300. Whatevs! I don't know why the Padres haven't just put him on the squad already, but I bet it's any moment. Grab him now, before it's like trying to grab water out of a river. Poetic! Anyway, here's what else I saw yesterday in fantasy baseball:
