8/30/24 Milwaukee Brewers sweep doubleheader from Cincinnati. (WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers picked up a pair of wins in steamy Cincinnati on Friday, winning the opener 5-4 in 10 innings and erupting for 10 runs in the ninth inning of the nightcap to beat the Reds 14-0. In the opener, the Brewers picked up the win when Sal Frelick grounded into a double play that scored Eric Haase. Willy Adames and William Contreras each homered for Milwaukee in the opener. Adames hit his 25th home run while Contreras hit his 19th. Colin Rea started and lasted just 4 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits. Trevor McGill pitched a scoreless ninth inning to get the win for the Brewers. Devin Williams pitched the tenth inning and got his seventh save. In the nightcap, DL Hall

Sal Frelick had two hits and scored three times to help the visiting Milwaukee Brewers to an 8-3 win against the Washington Nationals in the opener of their three-game series on Friday night. William Contreras homered, Willy Adames had two hits and a run, and Garrett Mitchell and Blake Perkins each drove in two runs for the Brewers, who ended a two-game skid. Frankie Montas made his debut for Milwaukee after he was acquired from the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday, and the right-hander allowed three runs and nine hits in five-plus innings.

5/25/24 Milwaukee Brewers' Sal Frelick Returns Home to Notch Hit at Fenway Park. Sal Frelick is plenty familiar with Fenway Park. The Milwaukee Brewers outfielder was born in Boston, grew up in Lexington and played three sports at Lexington High School, just 13 miles away from the home of the Boston Red Sox. Frelick went to Boston College as well, only a few Green Line stops away from America's most historic ballpark.

After the Mariners scored twice in the top of the inning to tie it, Muñoz (0-1) opened the bottom half by walking Sal Frelick, Jake Bauers and Brice Turang to load the bases. After Jackson Chourio struck out looking, William Contreras walked on a 3-1 pitch that was ruled just off the outside corner to score Frelick. 2/28/24 Angels Top Brewers In Spring Tilt. TEMPE, AZ (WSAU) — The Los Angeles Angels took a 6-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday at spring training. Sal Frelick had two hits for the Brewers including a triple. Oliver Dunn had an RBI double with Willy Adames and Brice Turang and Jefferson Quero notching the other RBIs. Jason Junk started and pitched a scoreless inning. Hoby Milner gave up three runs in his inning of work. The Brewers, now 1-3, will face the Chicago Cubs this afternoon at Maryvale.
