(WNFL) – The Green Bay Packers had quarterbacks, rookies and injured players report for duty at Lambeau Field yesterday with the rest of the team checking in for training camp on Sunday. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that right tackle Zach Tom and tight end Tucker Kraft will begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list as a result of pectoral injuries that both suffered during the off-season. 6/27/24	'Put It Where the Sun Don't Shine'. Coming out of South Dakota State, Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft said run after catch was one of the strengths of his game. During his final collegiate season, Kraft averaged 8.0 yards after the catch – tops in the draft class among pure tight ends. Of course, that came with the asterisk of Kraft running over and through a bunch of FCS-level defenders who might never get a sniff of the NFL. GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers got an update on the injury front on Monday after tight end Tucker Kraft suffered a pectoral injury that could keep him out for the start of training camp. In an interview with Packers Central's Bill Huber, Kraft confirmed that, like head coach Matt LaFleur, his injury happened during a routine lifting session, saying, “Just a regular lift. It was my last rep of the day on the bench. Nothing crazy, not heavyweight. We were speed-benching, and it just popped right off the bone.” Kraft wore a sling during OTAs last week and is expected to be immobilized for 4-6 weeks after he underwent surgery due to his tendon rupturing from the bone. GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers will be without two key players until training camp begins in August due to pectoral injuries. According to Head Coach Matt LaFleur, who spoke after OTAs on Tuesday, it's unknown how tight end Tucker Kraft and tackle Zach Tom suffered the injuries, but he confirmed that neither player is expected to participate in full practice until August. MAY 9, 2024: WATERTOWN, S.D. – Former North Dakota State football standout Spencer Waege was on the move Thursday (May 9, 2024), when he found out the news that he's been signed to a new team. Waege, a South Shore, South Dakota, native and Watertown High School graduate, was informed Thursday by the San Francisco 49ers hat he had been cut from the 49ers roster. Waage wasn't unemployed long though, as the Green Bay Packers signed the former FCS first team All American. Waege joins a roster that includes Timber Lake, South Dakota, native Tucker Kraft.
