9/14/24 Christian Yelich made his TV booth debut during the Brewers game Saturday, and it was total gold. What was supposed to be a short stop by the Brewers' TV booth turned out to be a lengthy stay for Christian Yelich.

9/04/24 His Stats Don't Show It, But Marlins' Jesus Sanchez Is A Budding Star. The Miami Marlins seemingly have always had a way of coming up with impact outfielders. It wasn't all that long ago when they drafted/signed and developed one of the best trios in recent memory - Christian Yelich, Marcell Ozuna and Giancarlo Stanton, from left to right. Yelich and Stanton both have MVP awards on their resume, while Ozuna has finished as high as 6th and almost certainly should better that in 2024. Stanton peaked as a Marlin, while the other two showed signs of greatness that they delivered on elsewhere.

The 2018 NL MVP spoke to reporters Tuesday for the first time since having surgery Aug. 16. The Brewers have expressed optimism Yelich will be ready for the start of the 2025 season. 8/18/24 Brewers close series vs. Guardians with momentum on their side. Despite losing leading hitter Christian Yelich to season-ending back surgery, the Milwaukee Brewers have plenty of momentum and will try to finish a series sweep of the visiting Cleveland Guardians on Sunday afternoon. Milwaukee, leader of the National League Central, enters the contest with four wins in a row, all against division-leading teams. The Brewers closed their four-game series with the Los Angeles Dodgers with back-to-back victories earlier in the week, and Milwaukee followed by winning the first two meetings with the Guardians.

8/01/24 Deadspin | Brewers seek fresh start vs. Nationals after mediocre month. The Milwaukee Brewers hope a flip of the calendar will help turn their fortunes when they open a three-game series at the Washington Nationals on Friday night. The Brewers went 11-13 in July and began August with an assortment of injuries, none more jarring than the recurring back issue that flared up with outfielder Christian Yelich. Heading into the month, Milwaukee still held a five-game lead in the National League Central. "I think we're a young team that's going through it," Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy said after a 6-2 loss to the visiting Atlanta Braves on Wednesday.

7/26/24 Brewers, missing Christian Yelich, return home to face Marlins. The Brewers, however, lost more during that five-game stretch than their record indicates.
