Just four days after being released by the Cincinnati Reds , Norris signed a minor-league deal with the Cleveland Guardians. He's expected to start the season in Triple-A Columbus. Norris, who turns 30 in April, pitched in parts of eight seasons for the Tigers. He was dealt to the Brewers at the deadline in 2021 and then signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Cubs in the offseason. But he battled injuries and struggles and was ultimately released. He was dealt to the Brewers at the deadline in 2021 and then signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Cubs in the offseason. But he battled injuries and struggles and was ultimately released.
