Chicago Cubs reliever Yency Almonte, who was part of a December trade that brought first baseman Michael Busch to the Windy City, was placed on the 15-day injured list on Saturday before their game with the Pittsburgh Pirates. It's been a struggle to start the season for Chicago Cubs reliever Yency Almonte after he was acquired by the team in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers this offseason. The latest example of that was the Cubs' victory over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night. The Cubs were well on their way to cruising to a blowout victory before the bullpen struggled.
