| 9/18/24 | Packers, Brewers, Bucks Teaming Up for Honor Flights again in 2024. GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Veterans of the Korean and Vietnam wars have a chance to go on an honor flight with representatives of Wisconsin's major league sports teams. The Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is organizing Flights of Champions trips to Washington, D.C. from Green Bay and Milwaukee. The trips are set for Oct. 5. The flight from Green Bay is sponsored by the Green Bay Packers, and the Milwaukee flights are sponsored by the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks. Organizers plan to take 174 veterans from the Vietnam era and six from the Korean War era.
