9/18/24 Bucs Deemed Contenders Among NFL's Undefeated Teams. Early season success doesn't always indicate a team is destined to be in a good place come season's end. Talented ESPN NFL analyst Ben Solak recently recently took on the challenge of assessing each of the undefeated team in the league (there are nine of them) and categorizing each one as either a pretender or a contender. Of the nine teams, Solak believes four are a flash in the pan while the other five are legitimate contenders. Mayfield isn't an elite quarterback, but he knows where his bread is buttered, and the success of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin (who has had an excellent start to the season) allows him to attack one-on-ones with confidence.

Mayfield threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns, averaging

9/10/24 Bucs' Mike Evans is closing in on history following big Week 1 performance. Mike Evans has cemented himself into a special place in the history of the NFL. Despite being overshadowed by his college quarterback coming out of Texas A&M, he has done a subtle yet boisterous job of reminding everyone each Sunday how talented he is. Ten years into his care

9/09/24 Best and Worst Graded Bucs Offensive Players vs. Commanders. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn't do anything drastic to improve their offense from a season ago. Some tinkering on the offensive line and some skill players for depth were the only real moves that the Bucs made outside of retaining their key players in Mike Evans, Baker Mayfield and Tristan Wirfs. The one glaring aspect of the Bucs' offense that is different than a year ago is the coordinator spot after former offensive coordinator Dave Canales left for the Carolina head coaching gig, paving the way for Liam Coen to become the team's next OC. Coen didn't disappoint in his first game leading the Buccaneers offense as Baker Mayfield and company put up fantastic stats on their way to reaching 37
