Mike Macdonald held one final game ball aloft in the happy locker room following Sunday's overtime win over New England, one of two he was handing out for someone who had closed out the win. Or, as Macdonald has come to call it, a “closer” game ball. “Hey, it's a trifecta right here,” he shouted following the 23-20 overtime win over New England, calling up kicker Jason Myers. Myers was the obvious hero making three field goals, all in somewhat stressful situations — a 44-yarder with no time left in the first half that put the Seahawks ahead 17-13, a 38-yarder with 55 seconds left that tied the game at 20 and a 31-yarder that won it. Jason Myers hit a 31-yard field goal in overtime to lift the Seattle Seahawks to a 23-20 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday. The game-winner capped a three-for-three day for Myers, who ensured the game went into OT with a 38-yard field goal with less than a minute left in regulation.
