The Dodgers are holding the door open to a potential postseason role for a player who is rehabbing from elbow surgery last September. Right-hander Tony Gonsolin has made two rehab starts with Triple-A Oklahoma City already and will make a third later this week. Tony Gonsolin made his long-awaited return to the mound on Tuesday when he began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City. The right-hander started against the Tacoma Rainiers (Seattle Mariners affiliate) and allowed two hits over two scoreless innings in what was his first game since Aug. 18, 2023 with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
